"Andrew Yousse is the GREATEST film maker EVER! He takes the the weakest performances from us and turns it into magic!!! If Cecil B. Demill, Steven Spielberg and Martin Scorcese's eyebrow had a baby, it would be Andrew Yousse!"

What is a ...... Breakfast Show at Night?

Source: Tim Hattrick

Since coming together in 1990, every year- usually right before Christmas, Willy and I decided to take our show out of the studio and perform it live in front of a bunch of fun loving – “amped up” Tim & Willy fans. The plan was not to just us sit there and talk mildly; we wanted to make it a big production with music and skits and laughter and tears and fireworks and dancing bears and everything! Originally we’d do the show live on location from some hotel ballroom or bar during the early morning hours of our regular radio show. We’d sing live with our band, let a comic tell a few jokes, we’d have some special guests and contests, and a lot of listeners doing crazy things. This became known as a “Tim & Willy BREAKFAST SHOW.”

We came to find out that doing a “Breakfast Show” live on the radio in the early morning hours was a major pain in the fruitcake! And another thing, while a lot of listeners could stop by and enjoy some of the festivities on their way to work or school, not everyone had the time to really hang out and really enjoy the entire show.

So we decided to try something different: We thought; “Let’s do the show on a Saturday evening when our listeners could plan on getting dressed up and make a full night of it.” We’d also decided to take the show to the stage of a real venue such as the awesome Celebrity Theatre. Our main goal: make this one show as big and spectacular as we can for our live audience in the house that night. At the same time we’d hire a professional sound company to record everything so we could play the show back on the radio and it would sound awesome! And so it came to pass… “the Tim & Willy Christmas Breakfast Show @ NIGHT!”
